Human remains recovered from Flathead Lake

Montana – Human remains have been recovered from Flathead Lake.

According to a news release, police received a call around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday of a human skull found in the lake.

The call came from operators of a gill netting boat, who discovered the skull inside their net while pulling it in.

Forensics of Montana Forensic Science lab will examine the skull.

No additional information was released.
