Billings Police Department had a handful of work over the weekend as officers responded to multiple incidents

Billings, Montana – The officers from the Billings Police Department had a lot of work for the weekend as several crimes were committed early Saturday morning.

According to the Billings Police Department (BPD), officers were sent to S 27th St. at 1:10 a.m. in response to a call regarding a residential disturbance.

Two victims, including a woman and a man, were transported to a hospital for medical attention. According to the Billings Police Department, the suspect who assaulted the woman and stabbed the man was taken into custody without any additional incident.

Shortly after the first incident, a second report came in at 1:12 a.m. about a brawl at a parking lot on Southgate Drive where several shots were fired. The people involved in this incident had already fled the scene when police arrived, and the investigation is ongoing.

A couple of hours later, at approximately 3:33 a.m., officers responded to 6th Ave. N. to reports of a woman suffering from a stab wound. The perpetrator was tracked down and arrested, while the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of what were said to be non-life-threatening injuries.
