City of Missoula Fire Department responds to structure fire at Great Burn Brewing

Missoula, MT – The City of Missoula Fire Department responded to a structure fire on the evening of July 3 after crews were dispatched to Great Burn Brewing.

According to the department, D Shift crews arrived on scene following reports of a fire at the business.

The situation was initially brought under control when a passerby alerted an employee, who then used a fire extinguisher after being properly trained.

This action helped slow the fire’s spread until firefighters arrived and completed full extinguishment.

Officials noted that the early response on site played a key role in limiting damage before emergency crews secured the area and ensured the fire was fully out.

The department also indicated that additional fire safety messaging related to the Fourth of July holiday is expected to follow.
