Missoula, MT – The City of Missoula, Montana, has announced a vacancy on the Board of Trustees of the Cemetery and is seeking applicants to fill the open position.
According to the city, the Cemetery Board operates under the authority of the City Council and is responsible for overseeing rules, regulations, records, management, and supervision of cemetery grounds and burial sites within the city.
Officials said the board also participates in the interview and selection process for the cemetery superintendent.
The position carries a three-year term, with the board consisting of five total members. City officials said interested residents are encouraged to apply to help support the oversight and management of municipal cemetery operations.
