The Missoula Fire Department has begun the process of expanding its team with the hiring of 20 new firefighters following the successful passing of the fire levy

Missoula, MT – According to the statement, following the successful passing of the fire levy in June, the Missoula Fire Department has begun the process of expanding its team with the hiring of 20 new firefighters.

This week, the department welcomed six new probationary/trainee firefighters: Kristen Hibala, John Kaiser, Dennis Hoselton, John Mills, Christopher Shetler, and John D’Anna.

The department expressed its gratitude to the community for their support, which has made this expansion possible.

The next round of interviews is scheduled for next week as the department continues to recruit more talented individuals.

The Missoula Fire Department remains committed to its mission of saving lives, protecting property, and alleviating pain and suffering.
