Shepherd, Montana – On September 7, Shepherd students will return to school and find some significant improvements. The improvements are the result of an $11.9 million bond that was approved by voters in September 2019.
One of the significant changes, according to Superintendent Drea O’Donnell, is that all of the grades will now be linked into one campus.
New kindergarten and first-grade classrooms, new family and consumer science classrooms, new high school science labs, a new cafeteria and kitchen, a new K-12 library, and improvements throughout the building are among the changes that students will notice, according to O’Donnell.
Masks are currently optional, according to Superintendent O’Donnell.
