According to the court documents, the 38-year-old defendant, Sandra, was found guilty of first-degree murder in connection with her IandIord’s death. Prosecutors said the tenant reportedly killed her 69-year-old IandIord, Francis, before she dismembered here body just days after she got notice of eviction.
According to the court documents, on the fatal night, the other tenants in the buiIding reportedly heard screams coming from the apartment and then tried to call her. The IandIord didn’t respond but someone sent messages from her phone, which prosecutors claim were sent by the defendant.
The other tenants reportedly called the authorities after they couldn’t see the woman all day. When officers searched Sandra’s room, they reportedly found remains in her freezer. The responding officers believe that the woman killed her IandIord and then used big kitchen knife to dismember her b0dy.
According to the court documents, the 69-year-old reportedly called the authorities on Sandra many times and served the 38-year-old tenant with a notice to leave or an eviction notice a day before the slaying. Prosecutors said the defendant will be sentenced next month.
