Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Assistance to Stop Unsafe Shooting Near Stevensville

Stevensville, MT – The Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) is calling on the public to help address unsafe shooting in the vicinity of Ambrose Creek and Lone Rock School Road.

According to the RCSO, several rounds fired from a .22 caliber rifle have struck a residence on Lance Lane on multiple occasions, typically on Saturdays. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, but the incidents have raised significant safety concerns for the homeowner.

The homeowner, who has not requested charges to be filed, has expressed a strong desire for the shooting to cease, citing ongoing safety risks. Authorities are working to identify those responsible and prevent any further incidents in the area.

RCSO is asking anyone with information about the shooting incidents to come forward and contact Deputy Roderick at (406) 363-3033. The public’s help is critical in resolving this issue and ensuring the safety of the community.
