Missoula, MT – The City of Missoula Fire Department recently celebrated a major milestone for its second rookie class, recognizing firefighters who have completed their first year and achieved official confirmation status.
According to the department, the group was hired following the passage of the 2024 fire levy, which helped expand staffing and support recruitment efforts.
Fire officials confirmed that the firefighters have now completed their probationary period and earned their place in the ranks as fully confirmed members of the department.
The group includes Alex Richard, Tyler Lind, Seth Ray, Quinton Barnett, Brennen Heggenes, Isaac Anderson, Carson Roberts, Lexi Harrison, Drew Thompson, Judah McLain, Tyler Knauth, and Logan Zieschang.
Department leadership credited the firefighters’ dedication, training, and commitment to public service throughout their first year on the job.
Officials extended congratulations to the newly confirmed firefighters, noting the importance of their continued service to the Missoula community.
