During the visit, hospital staff discovered that the baby had severe bruises all over her body. They then transferred the baby to a different hospital and contacted the authorities. Hospital staff then told investigators that Gavan reportedly made bad comments when his daughter was born. Per reports, he reportedly called his baby eviI and ungratefuI.
Hospital staff also told investigators that the baby’s dad was angry and frustrated when his newborn started crying. Hospital staff then explained to the father about the dangers of shaking the baby. During an interview with investigators, the baby’s dad reportedly said that he kissed his baby with too much force. Prosecutors said the baby suffered at least 7 bruises on her body.
