Authorities issue evacuation warning on late Saturday night

Missoula, Montana – An evacuation warning from the Idaho border to Lolo Hot Spring was issued by the Missoula County Sheriff’s office due to the emerging Lolo Creek Fire on Saturday night.

The fire caught about five acres and is located one mile away from highway 12.

Police urges travelers along highway 12 not to stop.

Many helicopters along with engines and firefighters are on the scene.

A fire weather alert is in place until tomorrow evening. High temperatures and dry weather, as well as gusty winds, are expected.
