Helena, Montana – The fourth and final solo trip across America by Noah Coughlan is underway. marathon for Revival, a 3,500-mile memorial marathon for American soldiers, is taking place right now.
“That we have a lot more in common than we do apart, and part of that has to do with our veterans. So they really do enrich many of the communities around them. And I just wanted to say thank you and get this flag from ocean to ocean over five months and 17 days. Memorial Day to Veterans Day,” Coughlan said.
He is holding an American flag that was flown over Saudi Arabia by the US Air Force.
On Memorial Day, Coughlan left from the Peace Arch Memorial in Blaine, Washington, and he arrived in Helena on a Friday afternoon on June 30.
As he travels across America, Coughlan has been meeting soldiers and heroes; the marathon will come to a close in Miami on Soldiers Day.
Coughlan wants to become just the fifth person in history to traverse the continent four times on foot.
