Agencies in Red Lodge conducting training for evacuations on Sunday morning

Red Lodge, Montana – On Sunday morning, a number of organizations will be holding training exercises on how to evacuate Red Lodge.

The training will be led by representatives from the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office, the Red Lodge Police Department, GIS, and DES.

According to Carbon Alert, Search and Rescue will make an effort to reach the majority of the residences located inside the training area, but they will not venture beyond the clearly delineated perimeter of the exercise.
