Fire crews respond to building fire on corner of Zimmerman and Rimrock

BILLINGS, MT – Fire crews responded to a structure fire at 2830 Zimmerman Trail Saturday night to find heavy smoke and flames.

Deputy Fire Marshal Jaime Fender says the call came in at 9:02 p.m.

All of the occupants inside the apartment were able to escape without injury.

The building suffered moderate damage to the interior and exterior.

Fender estimates the damage at $100,000.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Fender says the building is insured.
