Missoula, MT – Members of several local fire agencies came together over the past two days for a joint professional development event hosted by the Missoula Fire Department.
Firefighters and staff from the Missoula Fire Department, Missoula Rural Fire District, and Frenchtown Rural Fire District attended a presentation led by Dr. Candace Ashby, drawing a full audience for both days of the event.
Dr. Ashby is a nationally recognized fire service leader, educator, and consultant, known for her work in fire service leadership and organizational development.
Her presentation focused on leadership principles and strategies aimed at strengthening organizations within the fire service.
Officials said the collaboration provided an opportunity for agencies across the region to learn together, share perspectives, and reinforce a commitment to professional growth and effective leadership within their departments.
