Missoula, MT – The Missoula Police Department is investigating reports of suspicious activity in the 1600 block of River Road after a possible blood-like substance was discovered at the scene.
According to police, officers and detectives responded to the area after a reporting party contacted authorities to report what appeared to be blood. An initial investigation was conducted on site, and detectives are now actively following up on the information gathered. The case remains open and ongoing.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help as they work to determine what occurred. Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area, possesses information related to the incident, or has video surveillance from late Monday evening through Tuesday afternoon is urged to come forward.
