Six City Council members who were elected in November will be sworn on Friday, December 29, 2023 in City Council Chambers

Missoula, MT – According to the city officials, the City Council members, who will be sworn in at 12:00 p.m. on Friday are: Eric Melson, Ward 1; Mirtha Becerra, Ward 2; Gwen Jones, Ward 3; Amber Sherrill, Ward 4; Bob Campbell, Ward 5; and Sandra Vasecka, Ward 6.   Claire Trimble, City Clerk, will also be sworn in at this time. Mayor Davis will administer the oaths of office.  

Sandra Vasecka will represent Ward 6 for a two-year term until the next municipal election. Sierra Farmer, Ward 2, was already sworn in as she is filling a vacant seat. All other elected council members are being sworn for a four-year term.

 The City Council Chambers is located at 140 W. Pine St.
