Residents of a nearby trailer park under a precautionary boil order

Billings, Montana – Residents of a neighborhood south of Billings with trailer homes have been given a boil order.

As a precaution, the Meadowlark region was given a boil order by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality.

On Sunday, November 20, a line break in the region’s drinking water system reportedly resulted in a loss of pressure. According to the department, this might let toxins into the water supply.

Residents are advised not to consume any water unless it has been boiled for at least one minute and has cooled before use. In addition, bottled water is offered at the property management company.

On or before December 5th, the problem should be rectified.
