Registration is now open for the 42nd Annual Heart & Sole Run to be held on Saturday, June 19. The race returns as a live race with social distancing protocol to safely host runners in person. The number of participants will be capped at 1,200 for the 5k and 2-mile race. Runners will participate in waves of 50 people.
Waves will begin at 8:00 a.m. for the 5k and 9:00 a.m. for the 2-mile. Heart and Sole features the Road Runners Club of America National Champion 5k. The race will begin near St. Vincent Healthcare and conclude at Dehler Park. For those wishing to participate virtually, a virtual race will also be an option. People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to take part. Proceeds from the race will benefit the YMCA and Billings area trails.
The entrance fee for all virtual races is $25. All live race 5k fees are $30 for adults and $25 for children eight and under; adult 2-mile fees are $25 and child 2-Mile fees are $20 (for children eight and under). The price increases by $5 for those who pick up their packets in the two days immediately preceding the race on June 17-18.
