One man dead, another injured after fiery one-vehicle crash

Laurel, Montana – Fatal one-vehicle rollover crash near Miles City leaves a 36-year-old man of Baker injured and a 41—year-old Laurel man dead on Tuesday morning.

According to Montana Highway Patrol, the vehicle was headed into a left curve on state Highway 489 and entered into a broadside skid when it went off the road.

Both occupants in the vehicle were ejected after it overturned in a ditch.

Since the vehicle burst in flames, it was unidentifiable by authorities.

The Baker man was taken by helicopter to Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City and the Laurel man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Montana Highway Patrol says neither of them was wearing a seat belt.
