BUTTE, Mont. — A 31-year-old man is facing charges of attempted deliberate homicide after allegedly stabbing two people at a housing complex in Uptown Butte last week.

McCulley has been charged with two counts of attempted deliberate homicide following a violent incident at the Silver Bow Homes complex early on January 30.
According to authorities, McCulley intentionally or knowingly attacked an adult male and female, stabbing them multiple times in the head, face, arms, and torso.
The stabbings occurred just before 6 a.m. at the complex, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement.
Both victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment, though their conditions have not been released to the public. McCulley was arrested at the scene and is currently facing serious charges.
Each count of attempted deliberate homicide could result in a life sentence, with the possibility of the death penalty if convicted. The motive for the attack remains unclear, and investigators are continuing to gather evidence.
