Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help in Identifying Man Caught on Ring Doorbell Camera

Missoula, MT — The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who was captured on a Ring doorbell camera during an incident in Bozeman last week.

According to a post on the sheriff’s office Facebook page, the incident occurred on Friday, December 20, in the area of Walker Road and East Baseline Road. The video footage, obtained from a Ring doorbell camera, was brought to the attention of the sheriff’s office on Saturday, December 21.

Authorities are requesting anyone with information about the man or the circumstances surrounding the incident to contact the sheriff’s office. Individuals can reach the sheriff’s non-emergency line at (406) 582-2100.

The sheriff’s office has not released further details about the nature of the incident, but they are urging the public to come forward with any information that might assist in the investigation.
