According to the court documents, the 57-year-old daughter, later identified as Shery, was found guilty on multiple charges, including: murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon in connection with her father’s and his father’s girlfriend’s death.
Prosecutors say the daughter reportedly kiIIed her 787-year-old dad John and his 75-year-old girlfriend Francois because she was angry her dad removed her from his wiII and upset because he didn’t let her sell his house. The defendant’s son reportedly told investigators that his mom left home the previous week to visit her father.
According to the court documents, on the day of the fatal incident, the 57-year-old mom reportedly put on ‘extra-Iarge’ clothes and entered her father’s home by hopping through the fence. Her dad and his girlfriend were found dead. Both victims suffered stab wounds and were shot in the head. The defendant’s father also suffered a blunt force trauma, the medical examiner told investigators.
During the trial, prosecutors said the 57-year-old daughter was reportedly angry because her dad did not let her sell his home, which was on sale for $1.9 million, and removed her from his living wiII. The 57-year-old woman will be sentenced in May 2024 and she now faces life in prison.
