Mom’s boyfriend pulled her 3-year-old toddler before he pushed him hard in the chest, which caused him to fall and strike his head, killing him, because the child tried to kiss his sister; the child’s mom had documented injuries that she was aware of being suffered by the boy for the past 6 months; charges

Police officials said the 22-year-old mom’s boyfriend, Robert, and the 26-year-old mom, Kimberly, were both taken into custody and later charged with death of a child by a parent, guardian, or custodian by child abuse. Prosecutors said the 22-year-old boyfriend reportedly pushed the 3-year-old boy, who was not identified, which caused him to fell and hit strike his head on a piece of furniture.

Last month, first responders arrived on scene and found the 3-year-old boy, who was not responsive. During an interview with investigators, the 22-year-old boyfriend reportedly said that the 3-year-old boy fell and his his had. The 3-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, was pronounced dead a week later. 

In a follow-up interview, the mom’s boyfriend reportedly said that the 3-year-old boy allegedly tried to kiss his sister. Robert then pulled the 3-year-old child and pushed him hard in the chest, which caused him to fall and strike his head on the furniture. When the toddler died, his mom was taken into custody and charged.

During an interview with investigators, the boy’s mom (SEE PHOTO) reportedly said that she knew  that her boyfriend was physically abusing her son, with documented injuries that she was aware of being suffered by the boy for the past 6 months. The DHHS had been investigating the allegations of child abuse, the mother also said.
