Philipsburg, Montana – Granite County children are affected by Covid-19.

Third, fifth, and sixth grade kids are all quarantined, according to a social media statement from Philipsburg Public Schools.

For the remainder of the week, teachers will provide instruction through the internet.

Students may return to class on September 20 if they are without symptoms, according to the post.

In addition, the volleyball squad will not compete in the Arlee Volleyball Tournament on Saturday due to close contacts on the team.

A total of 273 cases have been reported in Granite County, with 260 recoveries and two fatalities, according to the Montana Covid-19 tracking map. Eleven active cases have been recorded as well.
