Missoula, MT – The City of Missoula Fire Department in Montana is celebrating Public Service Appreciation Week after receiving a special visit from the Big Dipper ice cream truck at its headquarters station.

According to the department, the City of Missoula Human Resources Department arranged the visit as a way to recognize and thank fire personnel for their service to the community.

Officials said firefighters and staff were treated to ice cream as part of the appreciation event, highlighting community support for local public safety workers.

The department expressed gratitude for the gesture, noting that small acts of appreciation help recognize the daily efforts of first responders.
