Missoula, MT – According to the city officials, over the course of three weeks, local residents will have opportunities to hear candidates respond to questions about issues that are important to the community.
City officials also said that the candidate forums will follow the non-partisan, unbiased and impartial format established by the League of Women Voters.
League members will moderate and time-keep and will also screen questions submitted by the public for duplication and appropriateness.
The forums will be held in person at the Missoula City Council Chambers, 140 W. Pine St., and will be broadcast virtually on the Missoula Community Access Television’s Facebook page.
The forums will be open to the public. Attendees must remain quiet, and no campaign buttons, posters, or any other political signage will be allowed, including on clothing.
