Police officials said the son, later identified as 44-year-old Bryan Jr., was arrested and is now facing a first-degree murder charge in the death of his dad, Bryan Sr. The responding officers found the victim unresponsive and discovered that the suspect reportedly beat his own father to death. BI0od covered the victim’s clothes and his face was swollen and bruised. An autopsy reportedly revealed that the father died of bIunt force trauma.
During the investigation process, authorities revealed that the suspect beat the elderly man to death while speaking on the phone with an unidentified woman. The woman later told investigators that the 44-year-old man is a conspiracy theorist who had recently started using drugs. The woman also told investigators that ‘he was upset his father had gotten the vacine,’ without eIaborating on the kind of vacine.
During an interview with investigators, the unidentified woman also said that Bryan Jr. called her and told her that officers chased him, but later admitted that he was not being chased. Shortly after, Bryan Jr. called the woman again. The woman told investigators that she heard the suspect screaming at his dad. The second call reportedly lasted around 25 minutes.
When the unidentified woman asked the 44-year-old man about his dad’s condition, he reportedly replied that the ‘elderly man is under his foot.’ The woman also told investigators that she heard the son asking for the for the combination to his dad’s safe. When the woman heard the elderly man saying ‘you are killing me,” she called 911.
