Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle in Missoula

Missoula, Montana – The Missoula Police Department responded to a report of a car hitting a pedestrian near the intersection of South Avenue and 26th Street early Saturday morning.

As deputies arrived soon after midnight, other parties were performing CPR on a woman in her 60s. She was declared dead at the scene of the accident. Sgt. Ben Slater of the Missoula Police Department said that the driver had been identified and was cooperating with the investigation.

As of Saturday morning, the woman’s name has not yet been revealed to the public.
