Missoula Police Department fundraiser boosts AniMeals donations during holiday drive

Missoula, MT – The Missoula Police Department helped generate a significant increase in support for AniMeals during its 2025 holiday fundraiser, according to a department announcement released this week.

AniMeals collected donations from the police department last week, with contributions from that single location resulting in nearly a 32 percent increase in monetary donations compared to the previous year.

In addition to financial support, community members and department staff donated a wide range of pet food and essential animal care items.

The collected supplies included toys, litter, pet beds, and other materials needed to support animals currently in the shelter’s care.

Organizers noted that these donations will help AniMeals continue providing food and assistance to pets and their owners throughout the community.

The Missoula Police Department thanked everyone who contributed, helped with fundraising efforts, and assisted in organizing and transporting the donations, emphasizing the role of community involvement in the fundraiser’s success.
