Hiker attacked by bear at Yellowstone National Park

West Yellowstone, Montana – A man is injured following an attack of a bear in Yellowstone National Park.

According to park officials, a man was encountered by two bears while hiking on the Beaver Ponds Trail at Mammoth Hot Springs.

One of the bears attacked the man, causing lower abdominal injuries.

After walking out of the area without any assistance, the man was taken to a local hospital by EMS.

Park officials are investigating the incident.
