MISSOULA, MT — Starting Tuesday, the passenger loading island at Missoula’s Downtown Transfer Center will be temporarily closed for approximately two months as part of scheduled electrical and structural upgrades.
During this period, buses that normally use the loading island will be relocated to Woody Street, situated between Pine and Spruce Streets. Despite the relocation, Mountain Line officials assure that bus services will continue operating as usual throughout the construction.
To assist passengers in navigating the temporary changes, Mountain Line supervisors will be present on-site, ready to provide guidance and support in finding routes.
The upgrade project aims to improve the safety and functionality of the transfer center, ensuring better service for the community in the long term.
Riders are encouraged to plan accordingly and look for posted signage during the construction period.
