Missoula, MT — Authorities are actively searching for Demar Pugh, 23, who walked away from the Missoula Pre-Release Center on Thursday morning.
Pugh was reported missing shortly after 10:30 a.m. near the facility located on Mullan Road. He is described as an African American male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing around 180 pounds, with a medium build and complexion.
Distinctive features include tattoos on his chest displaying the letters “DP,” an angel wing, and an infinity sign. Additionally, Pugh has a tattoo of the number “4” on his left leg, pierced ears, and a noticeable scar on his forehead and eyebrow.
Currently serving a 36-month sentence from the Montana Department of Corrections for four counts of criminal endangerment, Pugh has a felony conviction from Missoula County. Following his departure from the facility, he now faces an additional felony charge of escape.
Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information regarding Pugh’s whereabouts to come forward and contact local authorities.
