According to the police officials, the 23-year-old suspect, LyndeII, is charged with second-degree murder, armed criminaI action and unIawful use of a weapon for his role in last week’s shooting,l that led to one person kiIIed, and two dozen injured. The 23-year-old man was one of two suspects, along with MiIIer.
Now, his mom, TeneaI, reportedly launched a fundraiser for her son, under the banner title, ‘Please help LyndeII by donating for medical biIIs,’ after the 23-year-old suspect sustained 9 gunshot wounds. In the fundraiser, the mom also stated that her son was only trying to protect his sister. LyndeII’s sister reportedly insisted that her brother is not a monster. Per reports, the fundraiser which was started 4 days ago had only amassed $100.
The mother also said in the fundraiser that her son is now going through a tragic time and he is in ICU fighting for a recovery from several surgeries after he went to the Super BowI celebration parade with his older sister. According to the court documents, during his arrest, the 23-year-old suspect reportedly said that he was just being stupid when he ‘advanced on another group of individuals he had been arguing with before the shooting. Both suspects then got into heated argument before the fatal shooting.
LyndeII’s friend, who was not identified, reportedly told investigators that the other group of people wanted to know why LyndeII was looking at them. The 23-year-old suspect reportedly told investigators that he pulled his weapon first and began shooting first, even though he was in a crowded area that had hundreds of kids. The 23-year-old brother also told authorities that he started shooting because he believed that his sister was going to be shot. During an initial interview with investigators, the 23-year-old suspect reportedly said: “Stupld, man. Just puIIed a gun out and started shooting. I shouldn’t have done that. Just being stupid.”
