According to the court documents, the boy’s dad, later identified as 34-year-old ChadI, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after prosecutors say he killed his son two years ago. Last year, the defendant pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including: first-degree murder, child abuse, conspiracy, and other charges. Per reports, the boy’s father reportedly took his 3-year-old son, CaIeb, into the bathr00m where he beat the boy to death.
According to the court documents, the 34-year-old dad reportedly beat his son to death because his girlfriend ‘became frustrated with the child and ordered her boyfriend to deal with the boy.’ After beating the child to death, neither the father or his girlfriend attempted to call 911 or seek medical attention. They kept the boy’s body in a cIoset for few days before they decided to burn the remains.
Prosecutors said the father burned his son’s remains in a burnpit. Authorities began their investigators after 911 caller told them about a murdered 3-year-old boy. Officers executed a warrant and found burned remains of a child. During the trial, the dad’s cousin testified that ChadI himself confessed to him that he had killed his son.
The boy’s father also told his cousin that his girlfriend reportedly became frustrated with the child and told him to deal with the boy. The 34-year-old father then took the boy into the bathr00m where he beat his son to death. Both the father and his girlfriend then tried to revive the child, but didn’t called 911 or attempted to seek medical attention. During the sentencing, the 34-year-old dad reportedly said: “l always wanted to be a good father, but l failed. I will always love my son. I did not want to hurt him, but I know my choices caused his death and I will live with that for the rest of my life.”
