Parks and Recreation will host Christmas tree drop sites at McCormick and Playfair parks and Fort Missoula Regional Park through January 15, 2024, officials said

Missoula, MT – According to the city officials, local residents may drop off cut Christmas trees at three area parks and Garden City Compost to be recycled into productive compost and conserve valuable landfill space.

Parks and Recreation will host Christmas tree drop sites at McCormick and Playfair parks and Fort Missoula Regional Park (South Av. parking lot) through January 15, 2024.

Please remove stands and decorations, and do not leave yard waste or refuse at the drop sites. Garden City Compost, located at 1125 Clark Fork Ln., accepts Christmas trees throughout the season at no charge, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
