Billings, Montana – The Summer Solstice, which falls on June 21, is designated by the Alzheimer’s Association as a day of awareness for those who have the disease and their caregivers.
Jerry Smithers emphasized the significance of being informed of potential outcomes involving your loved ones.
Jerry and his wife Darlene, who was identified as having Alzheimer’s Disease more than ten years ago, have resided at Highgate Senior Living in Billings.
“When I was the sole one caring for her, I was worried for a very long time. I’m glad she can receive all the services she requires and that we can be together.
On Wednesday, the Alzheimer’s Association Montana Chapter hold a number of activities to increase awareness of the condition.
