Billings, Montana – On Monday, Oct. 4, Montana State University Billings, in cooperation with RiverStone Health, will host a free community COVID-19 vaccination clinic.
The clinic will be held in the Student Union Building on the MSUB university campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be COVID-19 booster shots, a third COVID-19 shot, and first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines available.
Who is eligible for a COVID-19 shot for the third time?
- Individuals who are immunocompromised and have had a second Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least 28 days ago.
Who can get the Pfizer’s booster?
- Individuals over the age of 65, as well as those aged 50-64 with certain underlying medical problems, who have had their last Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for at least six months ago.
- Individuals aged 18-49 who are at high risk for severe COVID-19 due to certain underlying medical conditions, has been at least six months after their last Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
- Individuals aged 18-64 who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure or transmission due to their occupational or institutional setting, has been at least six months after their last Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
One dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is given as a booster shot. The booster is not available to people who have already received the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine or the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
This clinic also offers the one-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, as well as the two-dose Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines.
The clinic is open to the public and does not require an appointment. On Poly Drive and 27th Street, there is free parking at the MSUB parking garage.
