25 acres to the west of Red Lodge consumed by fire

Red Lodge, Montana – On Wednesday, a fire that was out of control was brought under control as swiftly as possible.

According to Red Lodge Fire Rescue, the blaze started off of Upper Luther Road and spread across approximately 25 acres of grass and sagebrush.

There was aid supplied by the Roberts Fire, the Absarokee Fire, the Columbus Fire, and the Forest Service.

“We appreciate the response from our members, as well as our neighboring fire districts,” Red Lodge Fire Rescue, said.
